It’s simple ….
The Lord our God fights for us!
This is what the Word of God says in Deuteronomy 20, verse 4
for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’

So Much to UnPack here …..
I have no desire to take this verse out of context …. I know this is Old Testament and that God is telling this to His chosen people … the Israelites.
Today … I would like to simply just take the principles that are true for all of us who are “His chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession” (1 Peter 2:9).
God Goes with Us!
There is never anywhere I can go that He is not there. The promise from Him is that He will never leave us! Praise Jesus! So whether I am walking in peace or in a storm … He is with me and you!
Let it soak in ladies!
He Fights for Us!
I’ve been studying the Kings and Prophets of the Old Testament through Precepts Ministries …. I have been learning so much. If you have never spent time in the Old Testament studying it … not just reading through it in a year … you will find it full of statements from God saying … “I will” or “I have” ….
Ladies …. HE is doing it all! If there is a ‘fight’ to be had … STEP OUT OF HIS WAY and let HIM fight for you!
The Victory is His!
It is always the Lord who Wins! Oh, you and I may think at times … “look what I did” but truth be told … HE’S doing it! He is always sovereignly working out His plan. He does NOT share His Glory with anyone else. Oh, we may want to try to take some of that glory …
But … don’t! Trust Him!
So … Today ….
- Let’s choose to believe these three simple principles from this verse
- Let’s please Him by actually living it out … Trust .. Submit … Praise Him
- And … let’s passionately love the ONE who is on our side and is working all the time!
