It’s simple ….
Call Out to Him and He Will Answer
Jeremiah 33 verse 3 says ~
Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

ONE of MY FAVORITE VERSES
Yes, I know I’ve said this same thing before about other verses, but His Word is so rich and full of great truth!
The Truths that I LOVE in this verse ~
The first truth to grasp here is this ~ when God says here to ‘Call to Me’, He does not mean just to say His name out loud. What He is telling you and me is ~ Call Me when you need help!
And then God follows that up with saying ~ ‘I will answer you by telling you … ‘
What is He going to tell us when we are calling on Him for help?
The second great truth here is this: He is going to tell you and I “hidden things” which here literally means, ‘inaccessible’. This word ‘hidden’ gave the Israelites a picture of a fortress and in those days the city within a fortress was pretty hard to access.
We have a Living God who desires for us to run to Him and call out to Him. He WANTS to tells ‘inaccessible’ things that we don’t know!
Why would we ever run anywhere else for the answers that we seek?
Today .. on this Sabbath .. will you join me in
- Choosing to rest in this great truth
- Making it your goal to call on Him first
- And … will you pursue, with me, a surrender life that is passionately in love with the Living God?
