Whatever Is

It’s simple ….

We can CHOOSE what we THINK ON

Paul writes in Philippians 4 this …

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Practice These Things

This is not easy to do.  It’s the reason Paul wrote to ‘practice these things’.  We must practice thinking on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, of good repute … on what is excellent and worthy of praise.

These things … they do NOT come naturally to us.  Remember, we must not FOLLOW our thoughts … we MUST choose what thoughts we think about.  And this takes practice.

What is the result?

Peace.

Just like God told us through Isaiah, peace is the result of a mind that chooses what to think on.  Think on Christ … who is the only ONE who is worthy of praise.  He is the only true, honorable and pure thought that we can hold in our minds.

Join me today in choosing to practice thinking on these things … will you sweet sisters?

Blessings Friends,
